Our Worship and Music Ministry

We invite you to worship with us in-person again.  Please join us and let us know if you would like to participate in our ministry here at FCC!  Perhaps you play an instrument (not woodwind) or would like to be a lay reader, or would like to support our vibrant Christian Education or Youth program.  Whatever your interest is, we will try and find a way to help strengthen your spiritual relationship with God here at our church and within our community.  Thank you for sharing your gifts of time and talent with us!

Sermon Spotlight text

Each week, we will be bringing you Reverend Dominic’s sermon from the previous worship service as well as other features from our church, such as special musical performances or interviews. We want to provide this option to digitally connect with those unable to come to church, even as we resume to our more traditional format with in-person worship at 10 am on Sundays. We hope you find this Sunday sermon meaningful and a helpful introduction to our church.

On MMTV, this “sermon package” will broadcast one week behind. Therefore, on September 19, you will be able to tune in to MMTV (local channel 3) at 10 am and enjoy the sermon from September 12. The MMTV broadcast schedule remains the same: Sundays at 10 am and at 6 pm.

You may also view this anytime on our YouTube channel.

Our Director of Music Ministry, Mariko Matsumura has created the following musical selections to share with you:

“God is My Shepherd”

“Ah, Holy Jesus”

“Guide Me O My Great Redeemer”

“I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say”

“Psalm 23”

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me
in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and [thy] staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of [mine] enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
