Have you ever looked at something in your attic and wondered: “Is this thing a valuable antique or just something nobody has had the heart to throw away?”

Well, now’s your chance to find out!

Join us this Saturday for our Antique Show and Sale which will feature (drum roll, please…) an antique appraiser who will bring a little Antiques Roadshow-ish excitement right here to our church!

Bring along that mysterious family heirloom, the vase you inherited from Aunt Mildred, or the old item you’ve been dusting for years without knowing why.  You might just discover you’re sitting on a small fortune.  Or you might discover that Aunt Mildred’s vase is worth exactly what you suspected.  Either way, you’ll have a great story to tell!

You’ll also have the chance to browse and shop for treasures of your own.  Whether you’re a serious antique collector or someone who just enjoys finding something unique, there will be plenty to see and enjoy from nearly 20 venders.

And what does all this have to do with Jesus?  Well, Jesus knew a thing or two about treasure.  He reminded us that what we treasure reveals something about our hearts.  He also told stories about finding something valuable that had been lost.  So, really, coming to the Antique Show is pretty much an act of worship (not really, but close!).

So come join the fun!  Bring a friend, bring your curiosity, and bring that questionable object from the attic.  Who knows? You could leave with a wonderful new treasure, a little extra knowledge, and a great story.
