Harvard Radcliffe Pitches Female Acapella Group Mayor’s Emergency Fund Benefit Concert

IMG_0290 (1)The Harvard Radcliffe Pitches, Harvard’s oldest all-female voiced group, founded in 1975 at the historic Hasty Pudding Club, will be performing in Melrose on January 10th, 2018 at 7:00pm at First Congregational Church.

While Harvard University is officially on winter break, “The Pitches” are on their winter tour singing at locations from New York City to Boston. They are landing in Melrose for a one-show, donation-for-entry engagement, thanks to co-tour manager Maddy Carbonneau, Melrose HS Class of 2016, and FCC member.

When not on tour, the 12-member Pitches sing jazz standards in four-part harmony from the hallowed halls of Sanders Theater in Cambridge. This past summer The Pitches toured Seoul, Korea and Tokyo, Japan and will head to Bermuda in April. Save yourself a trip to Cambridge (or Seoul, Tokyo or Bermuda!) and come listen to The Pitches right here in Melrose!

Running time for the concert is approximately one hour. Net proceeds of the concert to benefit the Mayor’s Emergency Fund.
